Nowshera Forest Division conducts series of plantation drives under One Beat Guard One Village Programme

PRESS TRUST OF KASSHMIR RAJOURI, JULY 26: Nowshera Forest Division has conducted a series of  plantation drives under one beat guard one village programme. During the plantation drives 600 plants of different varieties along with 1000 seed balls were distributed in each village.

Beat Guard Langer conducted a plantation drive at village Patrara. The local Sarpanch Yash Paul Shrama, Panches, locals of the village along with school children participated in the plantation drive. The participants were provided fruit, fodder and shade bearing plants and seed balls of grass species, bamboo and fodder plants. The programme was organized by Pawan Kumar Beat Guard Langer  and assisted by Rangeel Singh, Block Officer Sunderbani and other staff members.

A similar plantation drive was organized at village Powal  by Beat Guard Dhok Banyard Tara Chand. The drive was attended by members of Panchayat Raj institution and a large number of women. They were provided fruit and fodder plants alongwith seed balls of different species.

Another plantation drive was conducted by Ashok Kumar Beat guard Meenka at Middle School Kangri. The drive was attended by Anil Kumar Sarpanch Kangri along with Panches , ladies and other locals of the village.  The drive was organized by Didar Singh Block Officer Kangri.

The whole programme was conducted under the direct supervision of Vivek Verma Conservator of Forests West Circle Rajouri.
