Incessant rains , schools closed in several districts of Kashmir

Press Trust of Kashmir | Srinagar: Authorities in several districts and Ramban district of Ramban on Wednesday ordered suspension of class work in all schools in the districts. In Srinagar also many private schools have announced closure of schools.

Official sources said that the decision was taken in view of the heavy rains in the districts.

“In view of very heavy rains in Anantnag district, class work in all primary, middle and High schools of district shall remain suspended today,” Deputy Commissioner Anantnag Dr. Piyush Singla said.

District administration Ramban also tweeted: “In view of heavy rains and overflowing of nallahs at several places across Ramban District, all Primary, Middle & High Schools shall remain closed today. Orders will be issued.

“Due to heavy rains in kulgam district , class work in all primary , middle and High schools of district shall remain suspended today.” said DC kulgam Dr Bilal Mohiuddin Bhat.

“Class work in all Primary, Middle &High Schools shall remain suspended today on 22.06.2022 in view of incessant rainfall.” said CEO Baramulla.

“Due to incessant rains, District Administration Kupwara has decided to suspend classwork in primary, middle and high schools across the district today on 22.06.2022 as a precautionary measure said DC Kupwara Khalid Jahangir.

“Class work in all Primary, Middle & High Schools shall remain suspended today on 22.06.2022 in view of incessant rainfall.” Said CEO Bandipora.

Due to heavy rains in #Pulwama district , class work in all primary , middle and High schools(Govt as well as Private) of district shall remain suspended today said DC Pulwama Baseer Choudhary.
