Militants crossed all limits today as they attacked eight year old girl in Soura:- IGP Kashmir

Says Civil society, families of militants must come forward to condemn this act

Press Trust of Kashmir | Srinagar:- IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar on Tuesday said that militants crossed all limits and attacked even a eight year old girl in Anchar Soura area of Srinagar.

After wreath lying ceremony of the slain policeman while talking to reporters said that militants even fired upon a minor girl who has been hospitalized and her condition is stable.

He said that in past few years militants have been attacking cops, armymen and other security forces when they are on leave and remain unarmed.

He added that in past we have action action against the militants in such incidents and militants involved in this incident will be identified and neutralized soon.

Families of militants and civil society must come forward and condemn such acts, he said.

Earlier a policeman was shot dead and his daughter was injured after militants fired upon policeman in Soura area of Srinagar on Tuesday.

The cop was Saifullah Qadri son of Mohammad Syed Qasri resident of Malik Saab in Anchar Soura and his daughter as Safa Qadri.:-PTK.
