3 Kashmiri Students released on bail

Press Trust of Kashmir | Srinagar : The Allahabad High Court today passed an order to release on bail 3 Kashmiri students who were detained in Agra jail on charges of sedition for cheering on the victory of the Pakistani team in T20.

National Spokesperson of Students Association of J&K Nasir Khuehami said that Three kashmiri students, who were arrested in Agra , back in October , for allegedly raising pro Pakistan slogans , charged with sedition, have been given bail by Allahabad High court .

He said that inayat Altaf Shaikh, Shaukat Ahmed Ghani & Arshid Yusuf are in jail since Oct against whom the police had registered a case under sections of enmity between communities, but after a tweet from the Chief Minister’s Office, sedition section 124A IPC was increased against them.

He added that bail application was argued by senior advocate Ramesh Chand Yadav who was assisted by advocate Santosh Kumar Singh.:-PTK.
