Two militants killed in Srinagar Gunfight

One of the slain militant,Ikhlaq Hajam, was involved in recent killing of HC Ali Mohd at Hassanpora Anantnag, says IGP Kashmir

Srinagar, 05 Feb (PTK): The Inspector General of Police Vijay Kumar said that Two militants of The Resistance Front (TRF) offshoot of Lashkar-i-Toiba outfit were killed in Zakura Srinagar Gunfight here on Saturday morning, adding that One of the slain militant identified as Ikhlaq Hajam, was involved in recent killing of HC Ali Mohd at Hassanpora Anantnag.

Kashmir Zone Police while quoting Inspector General of Police Kashmir Vijay Kumar said that 02 militants of militant outfit LeT/TRF neutralised by Srinagar Police. One of the killed militants Ikhlaq Hajam was involved in recent killing of HC Ali Mohd at Hassanpora Anantnag. Incriminating materials including 02 pistols recovered.

Notably head constable Ali Mohammad Ganie was killed by militants near Hasanpora area of Bijbehara Anantnag on 29th of January .(PTK)
