‘Ganderbal has immense potential to become a model district: Rafi Mir’
SRINAGAR, Oct 30(PTK): Apni Party on Saturday organised a meeting of its district Ganderbal office bearers and affiliates at its Central office in M2 Church Lane, Sonwar.
The meeting was presided by Apni Party Vice President and Chairman Party Disciplinary Committee Usman Majid, General Secretary Rafi Ahmad Mir and Provincial President Kashmir Mohammad Ashraf Mir.
In the meeting various matters pertaining to the functioning of the district office were discussed in detail which was followed by important suggestions, grievances and requisitions by the members present there.
Addressing the meeting, Usman Majid said that Apni party has always promised for an equitable development of all the regions of J&K, however, district Ganderbal still lurks in mediocrity due to absence of infrastructural upgradation.
“Our Party has always advocated for a holistic development of Jammu and Kashmir and we will work tirelessly for the achievement of this noble goal. Ganderbal has witnessed an immense political apathy which will soon change into prosperity if Apni Party comes to power. Our promises with the people will be corroborated with the deliverance on ground and not just lip service which used to be a norm in the past,” Majid said.
Party General Secretary Rafi Mir also impressed on the District Ganderbal cadre to put in sincere efforts for the welfare of the people in their respective areas and also propagate the message of Apni Party to common man.
“Ganderbal has always had an immense potential to become a model district but regrettably it has faced a demoralizing negligence to this day. The people are yearning for a representative form of government that can address their pressing pleas and I urge you all to work in collaboration to voice their grievances before the competent authorities,” Mir added.
The district Party affiliates thanked the Party leadership for organising such the prospective meeting and pledged to strengthen the party cadres in Ganderbal at base levels.
