Admission Denial Sparks Inquiry into Ganderbal Schools
GANDERBAL : Allegations of admission denial and unlawful fees have prompted an inquiry against two renowned schools in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district. The Chief Education Officer (CEO), Muzamil Akhtar, has initiated an investigation following a joint complaint by residents of neighboring areas against Hilltop Educational Institute Darend and R.P. School Nagbal.
The complaint alleges that both schools have refused admission to students and unlawfully demanded banned admission fees. The order from CEO Ganderbal directs an inspection of both institutions and calls for an in-depth inquiry into the matter. The Deputy CEO Ganderbal and the principal of GHSS Tullamullah have been tasked with conducting the investigation and submitting a detailed report with recommendations within two days.
This move underscores the importance of fair and transparent admission processes in educational institutions and highlights the commitment of authorities to uphold students’ rights. Stay tuned for updates as the inquiry progresses.
