Govt orders shifting of 26 PSA detainees to Central Jail Agra

SRINAGAR, OCT 22 (PTK): The Jammu and Kashmir government has ordered shifting of at least 26 overground workers (OGWs) lodged in jails to jails outside the union territory, officials said on Friday.

Officials said most of these prisoners have been booked under the Public Safety Act. “The jailed terror operatives are to be shifted from various jails in Jammu and Kashmir to the Central Jail in Uttar Pradesh’s Agra,” a government official said, adding that more people may be shifted to jails outside the UT in the coming days.
