Hashmi Condoles demise of legendary Kashmiri Poet Dr Aziz Hajini

Ganderbal ( PTK) : The renowned Socio-Political Activist Agha Syed Karar Hashmi on Sunday expressed his condolences on the death of noted Kashmiri poet Dr Aziz Hajini and remembered his contributions to Kashmiri and Indian literature.

Syed Karar Hashmi said in a statement that really devastating news came late night about the death of Renowned writer, poet, critic and convenor of Sahitya Akademi for New Delhi’s Northern Regional Board Dr Aziz Hajini at his Srinagar residence.He will always be remembered for his outstanding poems, massive literary Contributions that too deeply rooted in the social context of Kashmir. Our deepest condolences to his family and followers across Country.

Hashmi further added that Dr Aziz Hajini was a Kashmiri born, towering literary figure, teacher, translator, Guide and journalist. He had written extensively on the Kashmiri crisis and on the history of Kashmir. He has served as editor of a popular Kashmiri journal as well written books on Kashmiri script, poetry and politics. His outstanding contributions for the advancement of Kashmiri language and literature can’t be forgotten ever. Aziz Hajini was a veteran Kashmiri writer and a very well known literary figure of Kashmir.
