Militants managed to give slip to forces after initial exchange in Kulgam

Press Trust of Kashmir | Kulgam : Militants on Friday managed to give slip to forces after initial exchange of fire in Redwani hamlet of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district, officials said.

An official said that after initial exchange of fire aa search operation was launched in the area.

However after conducting searches for hours together no fresh contact was established and operation was called off, he said

He said that search operation was launched by joint team of forces including Army’s Ist RR, CRPF and Kulgam Police on specific inputs about the presence of militants in the area.(PTK).
