Horticulture employee dies after tree falls on him at residence in Shopian

Shopian, April 28 (PTK) A horticulture employee died when a tree struck him his shoulders before falling on him in Balpora area of Shopian

Locals said that a horticulture employee identified as Nazir Ahmad Wagay a resident of Balpora died when a popular fell on him which labours were cutting near his residence

They said tree fell on him on Tuesday after which he was shifted to District hospital Shopian in critical condition from where he was referred to SKIMS where he succumbed during night.

He was laid to rest in native village on Wednesday morning, they added. (PTK)
