Ganderbal April 28 (PTK) Chief Medical officer Ganderbal Dr Mehraj udin on Wednesday said that covid-19 pandemic is spreading like wildfire in the district and people must follow precautions so as to avoid further spread.
He while talking with PTK said that Ganderbal was reporting just two to three cases on daily basis but now district reports 50 to 60 cases daily which is manifold increase in the cases.
He said that more and more patients are getting admitted and public must think must the situation at an earliest.
He said that people must follow precautions and take vaccination at an earliest.
He added that over 45 thousand people aged above 45 have already taken vaccines and only 14 thousand people are yet to get vaccination in this category.
He requested them to come for vaccination at an earliest and follow precautions like wearing mask, washing hands frequently and maintaining social distance. (PTK)
