3 Militants Killed in Lawaypora Srinagar Gunfigh

Srinigar Dec 30 (PTK) : Three militant were killed in an overnight encounter in Hokarsar area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district district, official said on Wednesday

An official said to PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR, that all three militant have been killed in the Hokarsar encounter, however, indentity of militant couldn’t be established as of now.

The encounter resumed this morning after being suspended for night due to darkness on Tuesday evening.

Earlier an official said that a joint team of Police, army’s 02 RR and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in Hokarsar .

As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the forces, triggering off an gunfight. (PTK)
