Gunmen shot dead senior advocate in Srinagar

Srinagar September 24(PTK)A prominent lawyer from Srinagar, Advocate Babar Qadri was shot dead by unknown gunmen in Hawal area of Srinagar, officials said.

An official said that an Advocate Babar Qadri, a young lawyer was fired upon by the unknown gunmen in Hawal area.

They said the Advocate was shifted to SKIMS hospital soon after he was attacked.

According to PTK, However, the officials from SKIMS said that Qadri was declared brought dead at the hospital.

A police officer while confirming the incident said that area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.(PTK)
