Congress condoles demise of veteran party leader Habibullah Bhat
Srinagar, September 9 (PTK) A delegation of senior leaders of Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) led by vice-presidents G N Monga and Mohammad Anwar Bhat today visited the Bandipora residence of veteran party leader and former MLC Habibullah Bhat, who passed away recently.
While expressing their condolences with the bereaved family, the Congress leaders said late Bhat served the party to the best of his ability all his life and his contributions for strengthening Congress party and people of his area are immense.
In his condolence message Monga and Anwar said in death of late Bhat, Congress has lost a prominent face in Kashmir. ““Bhat sahab was a dedicated Congress worker and leader, who would always be at forefront to solve the problems of the people. His contributions as a politician and as a leader are immense,” they said in a statement.
The leaders prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family. The other leaders who were part of the delegation included Gulzar Ahmad Sheikh, Shafeeq Shabnum and others.(PTK)
