Financial Commissioner HME and Director Health services Kashmir condoles sad demise of Dr Mohd Ashraf Mir

Ex-gratia Releif of 50 Lakhs to be given to the bereaved Family

Srinagar August  9 (PTK) Financial Commissioner Health and Medical Education Department, Shri Atal Dullo and Director Health services Kashmir, Dr Samir Mattoo Sunday condoled the sad demise of Dr Mohd Ashraf Mir from Pampore due to COVID-19.The said doctor was presently working as Senior Medical Officer at District Hospital Pulwama.

Dr Ashraf was a front line covid warrior who contracted Covid-19 and was shifted to Sher I Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) and despite of best treatment being provided to him he lost the battle of life to Covid19 early morning today”.

DHSK said that the entire medical fraternity is saddened with the loss of the deceased doctor and is in shoulder to shoulder with his family and relatives in this hour of grief. He prayed for the departed soul and let his soul Rest in Peace.

The department will sanction an ex-gratia Releif of about 50 lacs to his nearest kin apart from other service benefits as soon as possible.(PTK)
