Youth ends life by hanging himself in Anantnag village

Anantnag August 8 (PTK) A 21-year old youth allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself in Utrasoo area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Saturday.

An official said that the youth (name withheld) from Kandaji Brariangan hanged himself at his home this morning and he died on the spot.

The official said that it was not immediately known as to why the youth took this extreme step.

Meanwhile Police have registered a case and initiated proceedings in this regard,” he said.(PTK)
