65 year old man from Handwara dies at CD hospital, toll reaches to 44

SRINAGAR  JUNE(PTK) A 65 year old male from Handwara area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district died at CD hospital on Monday, taking death toll of covid-19 positive patients in Jammu and Kashmir to 44.

Dr Saleem Tak, Medical Superintendent at CD hospital confirmed that a covid-19 positive patient who was undergoing treatment at CD hospital has died at the hospital on Monday afternoon.

Patient was very serious from some time and was having underlying problems, he said

Earlier in the day two more patients including a CRPF man and 35 year old man from Srinagar were died who were also tested positive for covid-19.

The death toll of covid-19 positive patients in Jammu and Kashmir has reached to 44 including 39 from Kashmir division( including two non locals) and 5 from Jammu division.(PTK)
