Confining people sans internet ruthlessly brutal: Kadfeen

Srinagar, Mar 26 (PTK): Congress leader Kadfeen Choudhary urged upon administration to lift gag on 4G Internet services in Jammu and Kashmir, terming the lack of internet amid the present lockdown unnatural and ruthlessly bizarre.

Kadfeen in a statement issued to PTK, has termed the adamance of the authorities in restoring the high speed internet services in JK  as worrisome, stating confining the entire populace inside homes without internet is brutal to the core.  “Imagine the plight of kids who are caged in their homes with extremely low speed internet. There are people who want to work from home amid the prevalent pandemic but cannot do so due to the lack of internet services. It is high time that the admin must sense the call of the time and restore 4G services at an earliest in Jammu and Kashmir. Imagine people in any part of the world spending days amid lockdown with no internet facilities. It all looks so impractical and ironic,” said Kadfeen.

He maintained that as people are anxious to the core at present, knowing little what would betide, the government cannot close its eyes towards the hard and trying times people are compelled to kill while being besieged in their homes. (PTK)
