All parks, gardens shut in Srinagar over coronavirus threat

Srinagar, Mar 16 (PTK): The Srinagar district administration on Monday announced that all parks and gardens will remain closed in Srinagar in view of Coronavirus threat.

“All parks and gardens in Srinagar will remain closed till further notice. Cooperation of people in implementing precautionary measures is appreciated,” the Deputy Commissioner Shahid Iqbal Choudhary wrote on micro blogging social networking site Twitter.

 The move comes after the administration shut down all schools, colleges and private tuition centres in view of the rising number of positive cases of coronavirus in the country. (PTK)
