PDP’s Zone President Fakeer Mohammad Khan resigns

Bandipora, March 13(PTK): Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Zone president Fakeer Mohammad Khan has resigned from the basic membership of the party few days after former PDP minister Altaf Bukhari flouted his party in J&K.

Khan said that he resigned from the basic membership of the party as there are a lot of crisis in the party right now and there is no one to handle the party affairs.

He added that
during my long association with this party from year 2014 I witnessed many phases wherein this party was trying to prove as a viable political alternative for the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

But unfortunately the present situation within the party especially after the demise of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, I have come to conclusion that this party is not following the footsteps of Late Mufti Saheb and the principles for which it was established.”

On joining any other party, Khan said that he has not taken any immediate decision yet to join any other party as of now.(PTK)
