DLSA Ganderbal organized Awareness Programme on Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Ganderbal, March 12: (PTK)- A meeting cum awareness programme regarding “Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) was organized by District Legal Services Authority Ganderbal under the directions and guidance of its Chairman Pr. District & sessions Judge Mohammad Yousuf Wani today in the Conference Hall of District Court Complex Ganderbal.

The programme was aimed to sensitize and aware the Judicial officers, Staff members of Courts and Advocates regarding the preventive measures concerning the pandemic outbreak of (COVID-19) and also for taking all the measures for ensuring the smooth business of the courts without any compromise for risk.

Besides Chairman DLSA, Pr. District & sessions Judge Ganderbal, Mohammad Yousuf Wani, Secretary DLSA Sajad Ur Rehman, President Bar Association Ganderbal, Administrative Officer, and Medical Expert Dr. Syed Zahid Medical Officer, members of the Bar and Staff-members of all courts participated in the meeting cum awareness programme.
Some suitable measures were worked out to rule out un-necessary and avoidable gathering of litigants and seekers of justice within and outside the court premises.

Chairman DLSA, President Bar Association Ganderbal, and Medical Expert spoke on the occasion.
Dr Syed Zahid briefed the audience about the nature, incubation period and spread of deadly virus and the ways and means to prevent the spread of same. The expert doctor sensitized the audience about the basic preventive measures.

He told that public should not be panic about the issue. He also stated on the occasion that all possible preventive measures have been taken in the district for surveillance and screening of any suspect. It was also resolved on the occasion that public should strictly abide by the advisories if any issued by the Govt.(PTK)
