Scrapping of age relaxation in govt jobs creates row

Jammu, February 7 (PTK) : The Centre’s decision to scrap age relaxation for the Jammu and Kashmir youth in government jobs and abolition of the J&K Civil Service Cadre created a row, with political parties and other groups on a warpath.

We seek immediate restoration of 5-year age relaxation for the youth of the state in government jobs, otherwise protests will erupt across the UT.

The Congress has termed the abolition of J&K Civil Services Cadre an ‘onslaught’ on the aspirations of the youth of J&K who are already facing curbs since August 5, when Article 370 was scrapped by the Centre.
