Anantnag Handicapped Association held protest rally in Anantnag

Anantnag, Aug 01 (PTK): Jammu and Kashmir Handicaped Association Anantnag held protest rally in Anantnag.

The disabled persons chant slogans “Hamari Maange Poori Karo” in premises of DC Office Anantnag.

They told PTK “we have submitted a memorandun of 22 schemes to district Adminstration Anantnag which has not been Implemented On ground infavour of disabled persons in district Anantnag.”,

AHA President Javeed Ahmad Shergojree told PTK “the memorandun which we have to submit not implemented and our demands still pending.”,

He mentioned the schemes which pointed in memorandom for disabled persons included as Golden Cards, allotment of sheds for which GO tagging has been finalized, four Wheeler vehicles for disabled persons, Ration Cards, 5% Reservation in Block Schemes, Reservation without Subsidy in SC and ST, Scholarship for wards of disabled persons and allotment of shops at Pahalgam.

The have appealed to Governor J&K Satyapal Malik and DC Anantnag to look into the matter redresses and fullfill demands he also added if demands not fullfilled they are ready to took on road for hunger Strike.(PTK)
