“Back to villages” campaign begins in south Kashmir’s Anantnag

Anantnag, June 20 (PTK): The ambitious “back to village” programme has begun Thursday in Jammu and Kashmir Anantnag district and it will continue till June 27.
In addition to visiting officer ,officers from different departments interacted with the common people regarding different governmental programmes and people enquired about the programmes that state government sponsors.
Common people representatives of panchayat, Panch, Sarpanchs and others participate in the programme.This campaign will continue for two days in this block.
The Govt designated officer Khurshid Ahmad Shah at Panchayat Geebum of Block Sagam urged people to come out with problems of the area. Panchs and Sarpanches Participated in “Back to village” campaign.
The program is primarily aimed at directing development efforts in rural areas through community participation and to create in the rural masses an earnest desire for decent standard of living. (PTK)
