Kashmir: A nuclear flash point, must resolve India and Pakistan

are languishing in different jails within and outside the state are reportedly not feeling well and it is appropriate time to consider their release.This will convey to the people of J&K that govt is serious about finding a solution to their political demands ,problems and concerns and more importantly would end the sufferings of their families particularly their children’s who always seeing at the doors to see their father ,sisters Deseret to see their brother,and old aged parents dying to see their kids.
I once appeal to authorities to make the atmosphere conducive for serious and comprehensive political engagements and stressed upon the government of India (GoI) to release all Kashmiri political prisoners as a good will gesture and start a fresh begining of engagements.We have always maintained that dissent should always have a place in a democratic society. Curbing the dissent and those holding a contradictory viewpoint has only proved counterproductive,” he said.
In a statement issued today,he said all the possible steps and CBMs need to be taken to move a step towards strengthening the efforts for peace as detentions and arrest of people, especially youth will only exacerbate the anger and give rise to further uncertainty .He said the people of Jammu and Kashmir and their leadership should become a bridge of friendship between the two countries ,so that peace and stability prevails in bruised valley.
The Kashmir issue continuously consuming human lives has become a nuclear flash point between India and Pakistan. So, both New Delhi and Islamabad must address the kashmir issue to make way for a larger role on international level.
