BJP revoked registration of 20,000 org used to get money from overseas, not in interest of country: Rajnath Singh
SRINAGAR, APR 26 (PTK): Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh reiterated that now is the time to review Article 35A and 370 of the Constitution which provides special status and rights to the state and its citizens and assess what Jammu and Kashmir got and what it lost due to these two provisions.
Singh also stated that his ministry also revoked the registration of 20,000 organizations which used to get money from overseas under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act and were involved in activities which were not in the interest of the country.
He also said that he doesn’t believe that Modi’s persona is overshadowing the work of other lawmakers and ministers adding that whatever ministers or MPs do, they do it after getting the team leader’s consent but it is natural.
He said, “All policy decisions are taking under the chairmanship of the prime minister and therefore, it is not right to say that the work of other ministers and MPs is overshadowed”. (PTK)
