Water scarcity in Anantnag villages

SRINAGAR, (PTK): The inhabitants of Gund e Nawroz  Village area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district before a Day were up in arms against Public Health Engineering Department (PHE) for failing to provide drinking water from last Ten Days.

“The water to our village was being supplied from local water reservoir but since last Ten  we are without drinking water facility. Our women have to walk in this hot Summer  to fetch water from wells and streams,” said Adil Ahmad a local resident.

He said the water which they are drinking from last ten days by fetching from wells is  muddy and unsafe.

 Residents told that We Face Hardships during this holy Month.They Appealed concerned AEE and District Administration to look into the matter and resolve it before Eid ul Fitr. (PTK)
