Damaged transformers pester consumers in Anantnag village

SRINAGAR, (PTK): People are up in arms against power development department (PDD) in Palpora (Dailgam) South Kashmir’s Anantnag district for continuous power outages due to damaged transformers.

The inhabitants have expressed strong resentment against PDD for failing to repair transformer in the locality from a week.

The residents said that the transformer of the locality was damaged before a week then we approached to Concerned PDD Employees regarding impairment they take Transformer for impairment but Still we are waiting for installation.

Locals added when we approached to Employees they told it takes some time.locals added We face lots of hardships especially Students suffer.

When we contacted PDD AEE Fayaz Ahmad he told transformer was damaged and we will repair it atleast in two days and problem will be solved.
