Speaker Abdul Rahim Rather Inaugurates Advanced Healthcare Facilities at CHC Kremshore

Budgam, May 15 (PTK): Speaker of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Abdul Rahim Rather on Thursday inaugurated several advanced healthcare facilities at Community Health Centre Kremshore aimed at strengthening healthcare infrastructure and improving patient care services in the area.

The newly inaugurated facilities include a dedicated Hotline Service, an Ultrasonography (USG) Machine and a modern Dental Chair to enhance accessibility, diagnostic capabilities and quality healthcare delivery for the local population.

Addressing the gathering, Abdul Rahim Rather reiterated the government’s commitment towards strengthening healthcare services at the grassroots level. He said upgrading medical infrastructure in rural areas remains a priority to ensure timely diagnosis, improved treatment facilities and reduced dependence on tertiary healthcare institutions.

He observed that the addition of advanced diagnostic and dental facilities at CHC Kremshore would greatly benefit patients from Kremshore and adjoining areas.

Officials informed that the newly launched Hotline Service would help improve healthcare coordination and patient care services, while the installation of the USG Machine would significantly enhance diagnostic facilities, especially for pregnant women, elderly patients and individuals requiring urgent imaging support.

Similarly, the newly installed Dental Chair is expected to strengthen oral healthcare services and reduce the need for patients to travel long distances for specialised dental treatment.

During the programme, health officials briefed the Speaker about the functioning of the institution and various initiatives aimed at improving healthcare outreach, preventive care and patient satisfaction.

The Speaker appreciated the dedication of doctors, paramedical staff and health department officials in delivering healthcare services despite various challenges. He also interacted with medical staff and members of the public, urging healthcare professionals to continue serving patients with compassion and professionalism.

Local residents and representatives expressed gratitude to the government for upgrading healthcare facilities in the area, saying the new services would significantly ease difficulties faced by patients and strengthen confidence in public healthcare institutions.

The event was attended by CMO Budgam, officers from the Health Department and district administration, medical staff and prominent citizens of the area.(PTK)
