Massive Participation Marks Marathon Under Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan in Kulgam

Kulgam, May 10 (PTK): A marathon organised under the ongoing Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan witnessed massive participation from youth, students, sports enthusiasts and citizens across Kulgam on Saturday.

The event was flagged off by Deputy Commissioner Shahzad Alam from Sports Stadium Kulgam and concluded at the Mini-Secretariat Kulgam.

The marathon was organised with the objective of spreading awareness against drug abuse and motivating youth to adopt a healthy and active lifestyle through sports and constructive engagement.

Participants from various parts of the district joined the event with enthusiasm, reflecting strong public support for the campaign against substance abuse.

Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner appreciated the overwhelming participation of youth and reiterated the administration’s commitment towards making Kulgam a drug-free district through continuous awareness drives and community participation.

A pledge against drug abuse was also administered during the programme, with participants reaffirming their commitment towards building a healthy and addiction-free society.(PTK)
