Shri Khalil Ahmad Poswal-JKPS Assumes Charge as SSP Ganderbal

Shri Khalil Ahmad Poswal-JKPS today officially took charge as the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ganderbal, succeeding Shri Ragav S, IPS. The customary handing-over ceremony was held at the District Police Headquarters Ganderbal, where the outgoing SSP passed on the baton to the incoming officer in a brief yet dignified event.

On his arrival, Shri Khalil Ahmad Poswal was warmly welcomed by senior police officials of the district. A ceremonial guard of honour was presented in his honour, marking the commencement of his tenure in the district.

Following the official proceedings, SSP Poswal convened an introductory meeting with senior officers of the district police. During the interaction, he urged the officers to discharge their duties with commitment, enthusiasm, and a strong sense of responsibility towards the public.

Emphasizing transparency and integrity, SSP Poswal directed his team to uphold a corruption-free system and maintain public trust. He laid special focus on eradicating the drug menace from the district, calling for a collaborative and targeted approach to address the issue.

He reiterated the importance of teamwork and proactive policing to address the challenges faced by the residents of Ganderbal and ensure their safety and well-being.
