7-kg IED is detected near Jammu bus stand

Jammu Feb (PTK) :A seven kilogram Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was detected on Sunday near the crowded general bus stand area in Jammi.

Officials said that they averted a major tragedy and a plan by militants to set off an explosion on the second anniversary of the 2019 Pulwama attack, .

The device was detected acting on specific information, the officials said.

Pertinently two year back on this day, Jaish-e-Mohammed carried out the attack on a CRPF convoy of 70 vehicles in Pulwama, resulting in the killing of over 40 CRPF men. (PTK)
