The well, usually a lifeline for the community during the winter months, had turned into a perilous trap for Bashir Ahmed. The delicate operation to extricate him from the depths of the well unfolded over an agonizing nine-hour period. It required meticulous planning, precision, and an unwavering commitment to saving a life.

As the clock struck 7:30 pm, the culmination of relentless efforts and synchronized teamwork saw Bashir Ahmed being brought to the surface. However, the triumph was tinged with concern as he emerged injured from the ordeal. The immediate priority was his well-being, and Ahmed was rushed to a nearby hospital for prompt medical attention.

The gratitude of the local community echoed through the night, resonating with applause for the administration, hospital authorities, Fire and Emergency Services (F&ES), CRPF, SDRF, and J&K police.
