13-year old boy electrocuted to death in Pulwama

Press Trust Of Kashmir | Pulwama, August 20:-  A 13-year-old boy died after he received an electric shock in Newa area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday.

An official said that Marood Ahmad Dar son of Mohammed Ashraf Dar resident of Urwan Poshwanin Newa area of Pulwama who was 7th class student received electric shock while he was repairing electric wire of water pump.

He was immediately taken to the hospital in an unconscious state where doctors declared him dead on arrival, the officer said.

After completing all legal and medical formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his family for last rites, he added.

Meanwhile, police has registered a case in this regard and started investigation.(PTK).
