100th death witnessed in Kashmir valley related to Covid-19, toll reaches to 113 in J&K

SRINAGAR  JUNE(PTK) Kashmir valley on Thursday witnessed 100th death related to covid-19 as 65 year old male patient belonging Kulgam district died at SMHS and was tested positive after his death.

Dr Nazir Choudary, Medical Superintendent at SMHS said that male patient from Kulgam who was admitted at SMHS on 30 June as a case of Community Acquired Pneumonia (CAP) and hypokalemia died at SMHS on Thursday morning.

Earlier five patients including 65 year old male from Tarigam Kulgam, a 73 year old lady from Batamallo Srinagar, 75 year old male from Budgam, 55 year old male from Hatipora Kulgam and 65 year old male from Sopore have also died in Kashmir who were tested positive for Covid-19.

With one more death, the death toll related to Covid-19 has reached to 113 in J&K including 13 from Jammu division and 100 from Kashmir division
