Youth Allegedly Commits Suicide in Rajpora Pulwama

Tragedy struck the Rajpora area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district as a 25-year-old youth allegedly took his own life, according to sources.

The young man, whose name is being withheld, a resident of Gabbarpora, Rajpora, was discovered hanging with a rope in his home. His family members acted swiftly, rushing him to a nearby hospital. However, despite their efforts, doctors pronounced him dead upon arrival. Following the completion of legal formalities, the body was handed over to his grief-stricken family for the final rites.

The incident has sent shockwaves through the community, highlighting the pressing issue of mental health awareness and support, particularly among the youth.

The authorities have taken cognizance of the tragic incident, with the police registering a case and launching further investigations to ascertain the circumstances leading to the youth’s untimely demise.
