Yatri Dies of Cardiac Arrest at Baltal Base Camp

Srinagar, July 8: A Yatri died of a cardiac arrest at Baltal in Kashmir on Monday.

An official reported that Chandra Bhan, aged 59 years, son of Barli Ram and resident of Patiala, Punjab, fell ill and passed away at the Base Camp Baltal due to cardiac arrest.

After completing the necessary medico-legal formalities, the deceased’s body was handed over to his legal heirs for the last rites. Further proceedings in this regard have been initiated.
