Wild bear Captured alive in Ganderbal Village

Ganderbal, 10 Dec (PTK) : A wild bear was captured alive by wildlife officials in Yarmuqam area in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on early morning of friday.

Official sources told Press Trust Of Kashmir (PTK) that locals of Yarmuqam Ganderbal spotted a wild bear roaming in the residential area, posing threat to locals especially to children.

He said that after being informed by the locals, teams of wildlife department armed with necessary gadgets visited the area and captured the wild bear alive this morning.

Meanwhile the bear was later shifted to Dachigam National Park, a wildlife official told.  (PTK)
