Two Pakistani Militants Killed in Rafiabad Gunfight*m – Report

Sopore, June 20: In a significant development, Usman, an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) expert, and his associate Umar, both hailing from Pakistan, were killed in a gunfight with joint security forces in the Rafiabad area of Police District Sopore, reveals a report.
As already reported, the encounter took place early yesterday morning following a tip-off about the presence of militants in the region. The joint forces, comprising local police and army units, launched a coordinated operation to neutralize the threat.
As per the reports, Usman was known for his expertise in assembling and deploying IEDs, posing a substantial risk to the security forces and civilians alike. His associate Umar was also an active militant involved in various insurgency activities.
