Two drug peddlers arrested in Pulwama

Press Trust Of Kashmir Srinagar Nov 11:- Pulwama police on Friday claimed to have arrested two drug peddlers in Pulwama.

An official said that continuing its efforts to curb the menace of drugs from the society, Pulwama Police arrested 02 drug peddlers, recovered 10 No’s of Diazpam Injectables and cash of Rs 9200/-

On a tip off information, Pulwama Police swung into action and laid a surprise naka at Babgund Pulwama, he said, adding that during naka checking, Police Party intercepted a vehicle bearing registration No. DL3CBQ-4882 coming towards Pulwama in which 02 persons were travelling.

During search 10 No’s of Daizpam Injectables & cash of Rs-9200/- was recovered from the possession of the accused persons, he said, adding that the accused persons were arrested on spot which identified as Mukhtar Ahmad Malik s/o Mohd Abdullah Malik & Haris Nazir s/o Nazir Ahmad Malik both residents of Dalipora Pulwama.

To this effect Case FIR No. 325/2022 U/S 8/21 NDPS Act has been registered in Police Station Pulwama and investigation set into motion, he said.
