Tral Encounter:- Two militants Killed, internet snapped in the district

SRINAGAR JUNE(PTK) Two militants were killed in an encounter that started between government forces and militants at Saimoh in Tral area South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on tuesday.

An official said that two militants were killed in exchange of fire whose identification is being ascertained, while as search operation is under way in the area.

Earlier an official said that cordon and search operation was launched in the area by joint team of forces including 42 RR, CRPF and Awantipora Police on specific inputs about the presence of militants in the area

He said that as forces approached towards suspected spot, hiding militants fired upon forces which was retialated trigerring an encounter.

Meanwhile Mobile Internet has been also suspended in Awantipora police dist for precautionary measures(PTK)
