Police solve theft case in Baramulla, recover stolen gold earrings.

BARAMULLA,October 13(PTK): Police in Baramulla have solved a theft case reported at Police Station Baramulla, recovering the stolen earrings through effective investigation, technical analysis and CCTV footage.

On 12/10/2026, Police Station Baramulla received a written complaint from Fayaz Ahmad Khan, a resident of Kanlibagh, Baramulla, regarding the disappearance of his wife’s earrings from their residence on October 4, 2026, when the family was away in Srinagar.

Accordingly, FIR No. 167/2026 was registered at Police Station Baramulla, and investigation was initiated.

During the course of investigation, the domestic helper was questioned, and with the assistance of technical analysis and CCTV footage, the missing earrings were recovered from her possession. Further investigation is underway in the case.
