Srinagar, 08 Oct (PTK) : Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Mohammad Aijaz said on Monday that To keep Srinagar from being hotspot for covid, people need to follow the covid SOP’s issued by the administration strictly , public and administration need to work together

According to press trust of Kashmir (PTK), Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Mohammad Aijaz Asad said to keep 3rd wave at bay people need to follow covid appropriate SOP’s strictly.

To keep Srinagar from being hotspot for covid, people need to follow the SOP’s issued by the administration strictly , public and administration need to work together, few containment zones have been made in Srinagar and strict action are being taken against

those violating COVID safety norms in the district.

He adds, it appeared that people in these containment zones are not adhering to norms in public places, including wearing face mask, maintaining social distancing and maintaining stipulated numbers in social gatherings. Consequently, there has been an increase in the number of COVID-19, it is important to wear a mask in public and follow other COVID safety norms in order to tackle with possibly third Covid wave in Jammu and Kashmir.
