Three militants killed in kulgam encounter, operation on.

SRINAGAR;-(PTK)Three militants have been killed in an encounter started between government forces and Militants in man Gori area of khul Batpora, in Damhall belt of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Sunday morning.

Official sources said that on specific inputs about the presence of militants, joint team of forces including 34RR launched search operation in the area.

On intensifying search operation towards the suspected spot, hiding militants fired which was retialated trigerring an encounter, they said

During exchange of fire three unidentified militants were killed and firing has stopped however operation is still on, they said.

Pertinently two days before two civilians were killed by unknown gunmen in the area while police as per preliminary investigation said that they were killed by militants.(PTK)
