Thanamandi encounter:- A day after killing two militants, fresh contact established

Press Trust of Kashmir | Rajouri : Fresh contact was established between militants and government forces on Saturday in Bhangai forest area of Thanamandi hamlet in Rajouri district a day after two militants were killed in the area.

An official told the Press Trust of Kashmir that fresh firing was reported in Bhangai forest area of Thanamandi on Saturday.

On Friday an encounter broke out between militants and security forces in the area on Friday morning, in which two militants were killed, however, search operation was continue in the area.

Officials said that after fresh exchange of fire more reinforcement has recently rushed to the spot, however, as of now there were no reports of fresh casualties in the area.(PTK).
