Tanvir Sadiq congratulates Speaker on successful NeVA rollout

SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 30 (PTK): MLA Zadibal Tanvir Sadiq on Wednesday congratulated Speaker of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Abdul Rahim Rather, and the Assembly Secretariat for the successful introduction of the National e-Vidhan Application (NeVA) during the Autumn Session of the House.

Speaking on the concluding day of the session, Sadiq appreciated the efforts of the Speaker and Assembly Secretariat in implementing the digital platform for legislative business, describing it as an important step towards making the functioning of the House more technology-driven and accessible.

He said the successful rollout of NeVA would enable legislative business, questions and replies to be made available through a single digital platform, allowing legislators and other stakeholders to access relevant information more conveniently.

Sadiq placed on record his appreciation for Speaker Abdul Rahim Rather for taking the initiative forward and also thanked the J&K Legislative Assembly Secretariat and officials associated with the implementation of the project.

He said the initiative represents a significant step towards digitising the functioning of the Assembly and improving access to legislative information.

He further noted that the transition towards digital legislative processes would contribute to the broader objective of establishing a paperless Assembly while enhancing accessibility and transparency in legislative proceedings. (PTK)
