Stone quarry restarts in Pantha Chowk, DDC Er Ajaz flags off ist vehicle

Press Trust of Kashmir | Srinagar : After a long wait the much awaited stone quarry has re opened in Pantha chowk and Athawajan area in outskirts of Srinagar.

District Development councillor and senior BJP leader ER Aijaz flagged off the first vehicle carrying material

He said that people of the area are happy with the decision and have thanked the administration for much needed relief.

It is pertinent to mention here that stone quarry was closed very before and they have been demanding for its opening since long.

They have protested at various places in this regard as they claim that they wholly dependent on quarries for their livelihood.(PTK).
