Bear mauls injures man in Kupwara

PRESS TUST OF KASHMIR | HANDWARA : A 58-year-old man was injured after he was attacked by a bear in Kupwara district of northern Kashmir

An official said that that an elderly man identified as Bashir Ahmad Mir son of Mohammad Ramzan Mir, a resident of Dodipora village in Handwara.

He said he was attacked when he was in orchard area

He was shifted to hospital for treatment following which a team of the wildlife department has been rushed to the spot to find the bear.(PTK).
