STC Talwara organises plantation drive

REASI, JULY 19 PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR: STC Talwara today organized a plantation drive in and around the premises of the Institute here under the supervision of SSP Principal STC Talwara, Jameel Ahmed.

During the plantation drive, three thousand plants of different varieties were planted by the trainees of the Institute.

DFO Reasi Jyotsana was the chief guest on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Principal STC Talwara emphasized the importance of plantation for the community and this initiative will go a long way in inculcating awareness among the public about environment conservation.  These trees are the investment for the future generation that shall provide fruits, shades as well as clean air to breathe by increasing green cover. Principal STC Talwara also thanked DFO Reasi for providing these saplings and her support to make this drive successful.
